Just never tried it on acetate. They seem to stick tighter and to more surfaces than anything else.Fayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06006293795541608715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647048305548674813.post-16717473306656634392011-03-29T06:04:26.097+03:002011-03-29T06:04:26.097+03:00I really love the back ground. when it comes to gl...I really love the back ground. when it comes to glue with acetate if you wanted lifted like with glue dots i would use silicone glue it dries clear and it's used normally for decoupage so it's ideal however if you want a glue and you want your image flat to the paper there are lots available like matt medium glossy accents these dry clear and are good glue hope this helps

love Dawn xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09454051870297280445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647048305548674813.post-281543825309391532011-03-28T21:05:30.950+03:002011-03-28T21:05:30.950+03:00love love the orange.....what a pity I cant see th...love love the orange.....what a pity I cant see the acetate...it must look gorgeous!Irinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17589048648122946585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647048305548674813.post-39952569193154401892011-03-27T20:42:55.557+03:002011-03-27T20:42:55.557+03:00FANTASTIC!!!FANTASTIC!!!MELISAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15860031706884839609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647048305548674813.post-55852872412430093562011-03-27T13:55:54.895+03:002011-03-27T13:55:54.895+03:00I think the result pays you back for all the troub...I think the result pays you back for all the trouble... I love the background. I usually just lay the acetate over the background without cutting it out. Some acetates will stick if you just dampen the corners a little. Or use brads to attach. Can't really offer any more suggestions than those you already have. When I've used acetate in the past it has always been on an aperture where you can adhere it to the inside so it glue is not seen on the right side. You could use glue dots and pop card candy or gems on top but that might be too fussy - and you don't do fussy. I am glad you like the circus one as I am particularly pleased with this one but there are not many comments, So much appreciated. Your dogs look fun! They remind me of Laurel and Hardy. No offense meant at all. Just look like they have a sense of humour. We have a funny dog too! A springer spaniel with a huge sense of humour. He has just had a summer haircut and looks and feels lush. They say there is not a word that rhymes with orange? Is there one you know? Acatate and Vellum for that matter are difficult to fix a lot of the time people use brads or eyelets. You can with acatate spread something like glossy accents all oave the back and stick it down that way the GA drys clear but if you want layers and or movement its a case of finding someway to hide/disguise the adhesive.
